Shaping Policy on the Digital Determinants of Young People’s Mental Health with WHO Europe

DTH-Lab works with WHO Europe to advance research and policy analysis on the digital determinants of health.

DTH-Lab works with WHO Europe to advance research and policy analysis on the digital determinants of health.

This collaboration strengthens the regional evidence base and informs policy discussions on how digital environments shape young people’s health and well-being.

In 2025, DTH-Lab supported the WHO Europe Office, in collaboration with the Polish Ministry of Health, to develop a policy brief outlining priority actions to address the digital determinants of young people’s mental health and well-being.

The findings were presented at an expert consultation with European and international specialists in February 2025 and discussed at the international conference “Promotion and Protection of Mental Health of Children and Adolescents in the Digital Era”, held during the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
